What does your ex's partner have to do with your responsibility to provide for your children? |

Mimkat
It's right because the child is YOURS. YOU are helping to support YOUR child. YOU helped bring the child into the world, YOU have a responsibility to help pay for YOUR child. |

gator_ce
Because you are paying to support YOUR children. |

It is for YOUR kids. Child support is different than alimony. |

Yes it is....the child has nothing to do with the fact that your ex remarried....Your child deserves to have that support... |

Carmela
Yes!!!! It is your child! Period! |

RanaBanana
That's still your kid, even if the ex is remarried.
It's called Child Support for a reason.
You'd be off the hook on alimony. |

originalfoxboy
so you don't want to have to pay for your kids
it dosen't matter it's for them |

yes it's fair. The whole re-married thing has nothing to do with child support. |

reflectorallison

Yes! it's your child you have to support that child....I find it amazing that so many men value their money more than their children, no wonder we have murdering youths on the streets if you're a reflection of of modern parenting... |

yes you have a duty to your child, try to talk to your ex,and sugest that you pay the money direct into a bank account for you childs future |

The child is yours - your paying the child support to help support YOUR child. It does not matter if she is married or not its not for the EX its for the CHILD. |

Well first of all those kids are your responsibility. Why should another person pick up the peices for you. It is your responsibilty to make sure your kids have what they need not thier new spouse. |

michelle
would it be right for another man to support YOUR child? |

iyamacog
It's very fair, if YOU are the father. Children remain your responsibility.......whoever your current romantic interest may be. |

ALFimzadi
Because it is still your child, and whether or not they both work, you are still responsible for the care of the child, it does not matter that they are married. The other person isn't responsible for your child. Now if they choose to be, that is different, but they aren't legally responsible for your child. Keep paying your support, and quit your whining. |
