Is it normal for a guy or girl to crave wanting to feel loved and being in a relationship. Also, can not having your emotional needs met lead to mental problems?

It's completely normal, yes. Many people are more than ready to settle down by that age.
If your emotional needs are not met, it CAN lead to problems, but honestly it rarely does. You'll feel frustrated, upset, annoyed, maybe even a bit depressed - but it's very rare that it'll lead to anything you really need to worry about.

Perfectly normal. Not having your emotional needs could lead to depression, if you haven't learned to deal with it by being a strong, independent person. |

I think it is pretty common to want to be in a loving relationship regardless of age. But I don't think your emotional needs not being met can lead to mental problems unless you are being abused or something. |

All humans want security and love. It's our most natural drive and we are very social animals. Kids want their parents to love them, people want their significant others and friends to love them, throughout life.
That's normal.
Second, you can have serious problems living in the world alone. That's why even crazy people own cats. They need someone or something to love. |
