Is it possible to meet somebody at church?

I'm a childfree (never want kids) man. I noticed that most people in my generation (Y) are atheist. I go to church and listen to the word, but rarely do I approach strangers. I think clubs and bars are bad places to meet an s/o.

Do people flirt with each other at church? Is it possible for someone to meet their s/o at church?
Additional Details
A woman who wants kids, that's the biggest threat to my dating pool.

There are MANY couples in my church who met because they grew up with each other in church, so it's totally possible. The harder question is, meeting a woman who also doesn't want kids.

Date out of your age group. Im 45 and my guy of 5 years is 23. Open your mind. We are both athiest. Sure people flirt at church look how many cheat and call themselves christan.

Church is an awesome place to meet someone. You can get to know the real them on a more spiritual level. Just start as friends and work your way up. Let them know ASAP that you don't want kids though, that's definitely a deal breaker. Unless they already have kids that are older - that could work out nicely.

I think most church guys are of questionable morals. Theyre usually perverts or control freaks. But a bar isnt your only other alternative. Go volunteer for the environment or something. Take some classes.
