Is it strange for my husband to have a few friendships with women?

My husband has a local friend who he texts and talks to all the time. He also takes her to lunch and sometimes goes to help her work out of town. He says hes just trying to help her as she is a damsel in distress. He also is friends with a younger woman from another state. He is paying half of her airline ticket so she can come and visit for a few days. He says she is only a friend also! He is annoyed when I call them girlfriends and remind him of an infidelity he had in the past. He says Im unforgiving and these are just his friends. He had invited me to get to know the local one. I do not feel comfortable with it.

It's possible. I have a couple of friends who are female, and I have lunch with them occasionally. On the other hand, I have never cheated on my wife so she has no reason to not trust me. Nor would I even think of paying for an airline ticket for anyone but family.
Most important, though, should be the relationship between you and your husband. It bothers me that he does not respect you enough to consider your feelings. Having cheated on you once (that you know of), it is his responsibility to regain your trust. Doesn't seem like he's trying too hard.

It's not strange but it probably is unfaithful in terms of your marriage. A guy who is friends with women like that usually has some romantic interest in them.

This doesn't necessarily mean that he is seeping with these women. But the potential for this kind of thing is certainly there.

its ok to have friends of the opposite gender but sounds like your husband has more then just friends with these women..sounds more like friends with benifits... do a lil spying and checking up on him.. what hes doing dosnt sound right..and if these women had any respect they wouldnt be so accepting of what a married man is offering them..

Your husband will cheat on you. I've been through this situation and seen so many people suffer through it in the past. There's almost no chance you can do anything to change him.

In fact - start inviting yourself to these "events" and see what he says.

He's doing too much for these "friends". Guys who are married don't do that, unless the wifey is completely involved in it and friends too...

If these friends were friends before you two got married, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. However, if the friends came after the marriage then you have a right to be suspicious. Especially if the friends are single.

oh please girl. its so obvious what your husband is doing. What is he trying to do? He is cheating on you. What kind of husband has girlfriends like that? and you dont have any idea whats going on if he visits one of his "girlfriend"..I think he is cheating on you.

A Motel Room, And Make Him Think That You Are.
It Sounds Like You Need To Put A Tail On Him.
(Someone that You Can Trust To Follow Him, And Tell You What's Really Happening)
If You Catch Him Cheating, Take Him For Everything That You Can Get. You'll Get At Least Half.

Wow..I think he is clearly cheating and getting away with it by letting you that know he is friends with these women.
Why don't you start making male friends and see if you get the same reaction from him.
