Is it true that you wont know how much you could miss a person until that person is gone "forever"?

Is it true that you wont know how much you could miss a person until that person is gone "forever"?

This guy I love very very much is taking my love for granted (unintentionally though)... as if whatever he does, he KNOWS i will stick around with him. i do every nice thing for him. cook, facials, massage, of course intimacy.....and even he said he has never had any woman treated him this well before. however, i finally sent him a goodbye letter. is this going to be a surprise for him?

Is it true that you wont know how much you could miss a person until that person is gone "forever"?

yes its true. i use to do that. i loved this guy so much. did everything for him and still he treated me like crap...sometimes. then one day he told me to "shut up" for no good reason at all in front of all his friends. When we got home I told him i didnt want to ever speak to him again and told him i have had guys hit on me but never considered them until now. i told him that i really loved him but wouldnt be treated like crap anymore.......

he cried and then realized that i wouldnt be around forever. but now hes perfect. i hope it works out like that for you good luck!!!!

You can't "know" how much you'll miss someone, until they are actually gone. That's true. You can imagine how much you might miss them...but you may or may not be on the mark. Only when it happens do you find out that you're devastated, you miss them but are okay with it, or ya don't really care that much at all.

Ya can't really know how you'll feel about anything until you experience...all you can do is imagine how you'd feel.

If the dude was taking you for granted, you should have discussed it with him. Breaking up, or fake breaking up, isn't the best way to solve the issue...communication is better than game-playing or throwing away something without trying to fix it first.

Absolutely.
People don't know how good they have it until it is gone. Try it and get someone who appreciates you ALL of the time.

Do you plan on being gone forever, or are you just threatening to leave him, and see what he does with this little "game".

If you sent him a letter, be prepared for the worst, he just might leave, and then you will miss him.

And yes, it is true, my husband and I were separated for months, because of marital problems and he saw the person I had changed into, from pitchers my mom had sent him and from coming up here to visit our daughter, on visitation weekends, and we started to talk things out, and we talked for months, and he was so sweet to me and he had really changed, towards me and the way he was treating our daughter.

We have now been married for 17 years, since we reconciled, and I could not have been more happier. We still have our "differences", but I would say after you have been through what me and my husband have been through, it is easier to cross that bridge together!!!!

If you really do not want to lose him, then I do not think that by writing that letter was a good idea.

Be prepared for your little "plan" to backfire.

No one likes games, no male, no female.

Hope you realize that and be prepared for damage control.

If you love somebody, set them free.

If they don't come back, find them and kill them.
