Nope. If you're dealing with this personally, grow up and get over it. |

Nah, I Mother made many years more than my dad did but in his work in the end being an investor and owner of his business inflation actually balanced things out. And there are several couples a Mrs Dr and Mrs Lawyer that both make more than there hubbies and they seem to make out ok... |

Never who say that, many many many woman success more than men. |

maybe a little unusual, but not weird, I'd love it! |

Why wierd???? Women can make many, many times what their husbands make...so what. Goes into the same pot. A wise husband would be very proud of his wife. An insecure one would think it was wierd! |

no it is not my mom makes more than my dad my dad makes 90,000 a year and my mom makes 110,00 a year |

It's not weird anymore but it used to be back in the day. Since, traditionally, men are the breadwinners of the home, people still have this mentality and think it is morally wrong for a woman to make more money than her spouse. As long as the husband and wife do not have a problem with it, I don't think there should be anything wrong with this. |

No, why would it be. |

nope- everything goes in cycles. sometimes he makes more, sometimes I do.
The key is being OK with it and that the husband actually works and not freeloads off his wife. |

Contrary to what kyuzo says, guys who make less than their wives are on the rise. Men work to support the families while many of their wives go to institutions of higher learning and begin making more money. It is very common these days for the women in the U.S. to make more money than their hubbies. |

I think it is quite the norm nowadays and doesn't seem like this situation would be different in the future. More girls are going to college and getting high paying jobs. And boys are not going to college and just working straight out of high school. |

why would it bother anybody if it is going to the same household who would care about that. |

No, but I wouldn't make it an issue either. |

ABSOLUTELY NOT! who care who makes more money?! as long as you both are happy together, and you consider each other equal, it doesn't matter. I believe very highly that women can do the same things as men. So, don't worry about it. It's okay. |
