Me and my significant other have been living together for 7 years. In all of the 7 years we've been together he hasn't held down a job for a year. He gets a job and loses it somehow. I pay all the bills ..everything! I'm at the point where I'm so tired and fed up. I have 3 children from a previous relationship. They are teenagers and seem to think money grows on trees. Lol...anyway...It doesn't seem like my boyfriend wants to do anything. He isn't motivated. He gets job leads and doesn't persue them..at all!! I am going back to college in the fall and study to become a social worker. I work and then come home it seems to work more!! I don't understand it!! Why is he so unmotivated and lazy?! I am beyond fed up!! Would it be wrong if I wanted to break up with him and date this guy who has 2 jobs and is willing to help me? I don't want to seem like a bad person but I can't take it anymore! We have a car that I purchased with a state voucher and he paid the rest in cash and I had his name put on the title. I know that will be an issue when I tell him I'm leaving. I mean I pay all the bills rent, gas, electric, cable and cell phone bills, with the exception of this month.Can he take the car from me when I tell him I'm leaving? I just can't keep letting my kids see a man live like he does!! I have 2 sons! I don't want them thinking this is the way a man is supposed to live!! Please helpful advice. Thanks

You should have been dust in the wind a while ago. Your children DO need a better role model and of course you are fed up. With all that dead weight hanging around your neck, who wouldn't be tired?
You are not selfish or wrong to want to date a man who actually HAS and (gasp!) KEEPS a job, but has a work ethic.

He's a free loader and will always be one . Why should he get a job when the doesnt have to ? He know that he can come bad home and set around and do nothing . You know what you need to do . JUST DO IT !!!!!! |

You sound really together. Why are you trying to change "loser guy" into your ideal man? It's not going to happen. It sounds like he's entitled to the car, but that's a small price to pay for getting this leech out of your house. sory to be so harsh, but you're way too good for him |

I feel your pain and i would leave him but he will fight you for the car since you put him on the title my boyfriend is not on anything with me i figure we are not married so why should he be on anything and trust me he wants to be. Be strong im sure someday i will be going threw your pain. Trust me when i get mad at him he kisses my *** and plays mental games.
