In my opinion it is odd. It could be a lot of reasons though. May just be in a mid life crisis. |

Let the man look good if he wants to, are you not satisfied or happy for him now that he is taking care of himself? You had an issue when he wasn't... So be happy for him if he wants to look good for you. He want to feel good about himself so you should be happy for him! |

He's probably just starting to feel old and wants a change. Don't we all?? OR someone said something to him about looking "old" and thought he'd make a change. Did you ask him about why? I wouldn't worry! |

He is still young, he should look after himself, this benefits you too. |

i dont think u should worry. he might feel better about himself than he did before and just wants to show it. thats how i was. i didnt care what i looked like but now i have some of my confidence back and looking good is feeling good. now if he is wearing clothes that are obviously 2 young for him, then hes probably having a mid life crisis. just be happy he isnt buying a hair piece and convertible |

I don't know. I'd be suspicious if all of the sudden, he wants to look good. WHO?? is he doing that for? Usually men don't have a MLC until their 50's. Mine should be having one but he's not. |

maybe he feels outdated. maybe u should do the same thing and you guys can be uh, 'hip' together |

He's wanting to look younger. Keep an eye on him, he's headed for a mid-life crisis, and there might be a younger chick leading him that way. |
|

Boomdeeada!!

There's nothing wrong with trying to look cool!! After all, if he brings in the ca$h, then he kind of- sort of deserves to do what he wants. |

usually when one changes the way they look or their clothes they are trying to impress someone or look good for someone. |

DOOOOD!
This is really normal. At around this age men, myself included hanker back to their youth. they feel young enough to do what they did then and want to do it again.
Don't be surprised if he buys a mountain bike, wants to do a bungee jump, asks you to go to a rave with him etc...
It is a well known thing. Mid life crisis it is obnoxiously called.
It does not mean he is having it off with a young chick, even if he wanted too. |

haha. well if he didnt care before then why does he care now? thats the thing that you should be worried about. Becuz there might be somebody at his work or somebody that he is trying to impress or maybe he is just trying to be cool. But its most likly that he is trying to be cool. cuz your son is 19 and probably hot and cute. so he probably wants to be cool like your son and yeah.... just ask him. if you have been married to him for 20 years then whats the problem? you should just ask him. and tell him to be honnest. |

As long as he's not looking like an idiot, just roll with it. If he's the one making all the money, your opinions are just that, opinions. |

Contrary to what some might think but 45 isn't old. I know some men and women alike who are 45 and still dress with the latest trends. It could be that maybe he is going through the whole "mid life" thing. I'm gonna be 33 this year and I'm catching myself feeling old so I like to keep with what's in style and not just say "who cares I'm getting older". Why would you want to tell him something if he's doing something that makes him feel good about yourself? Now if he was wearing tight leather pants that's a whole other story..lol However, if he's wearing stuff that's CLEARLY for the younger generation I'd say something just so he doesn't look dumb. I just remembered what I had experienced this past weekend. I went to a flea market type place and it's a place to shop, eat and kind of hang out and have a few beers if you want. Well I saw some OLDER women still trying to dress like they were in their twenties, when clearly they were well past 40. So if he's looking dumb in that perspective,,,TELL HIM SOMETHING! |
