Sounds like she just has self esteem issues and since she is not confident in herself, she can not be confident about your relationship.
I dont think she is messing around, unless there is more to the story than this.

I don't think she is cheating i think she was hurt in the past by guys cheating on her so when she sees women looking at you she might be scared that your doing the same thing her ex did its basically because she probably has low self esteem issues and trust issues because a guy cheated on her in the past

I don't agree with the theory that someone that is overly jealous and suspicious is cheating themselves, I think that there are obsessive behaviors that cause a person to be suspicious and fearful and jealous. The bad news is that it's very hard to change. If this person can't relax and enjoy a relationship then you might want to reconsider dating her. It's most likely going to make you miserable and she will be a nervous wreck all the time. Tell her that this behavior and accusations are unacceptable and either she doesn't mention it to you and accepts that you want to be with her or your going to have to get away from her. For both of your welfare. Good luck, this is a hard place for you to be in. Jealousy is a monster and it'll destroy lives.

that's not true I used to be the same way with my husband before we got married and it was NOT because I had cheated it was because I had kicked myself down so much I felt I deserve anyone and that my husband could do better and would leave me for another my husband luckily wasn't the type to give up instead everyday he saw me he told me how beautiful I was how much he loved me and always made me feel better about myself and finally I started to pull myself back up and realize I did have something to offer and no body is perfect.

I think her lack of self esteem is probably to blame here. If she thinks she's worthless, then she can't imagine why you, wonderful guy that you are, would be with a loser like she is. Which, in her twisted mind means you are probably wishing you were with someone else - or possibly you already are with someone better looking, richer, yadda yadda... you see how this spiral of self-criticism can go? Or worse yet...what if her dad had an affair and now she thinks that all men cheat because the man most important to her in her formative years was thoughtless enough to be unfaithful. Hooo..that can create some real trust issues that reverberate throughout a person's life forever.

You need to decide if you can stand it while she gets her head straight.

Highly possible, but her age plays a huge part in that. She may just be very insecure and scared of being hurt. Unfortunately, if you haven't given her a reason to feel this way there is only so much time you will put up with this before it wears very thin. If she is your EX..why do you care anymore?

to be honest some girls are like that but most are not all girls have there little problems with how they look and when they see another girl and think they are pretty its like a shut down for some girls and then they have to look better they, and if she assumes that you are cheating it might be becausee she really does not want to lose you to another girl that is every girls fear, and sometimes there is nothing really you can do to stop her but to show her that she is the one that means everything to you.

If she is your ex girlfriend, it doesn't matter. I think she is insecure because of what happened with her ex. Some people accuse partners of cheating because of what they themselves do. But not all. There are men and women that worry, just because they think most people cheat.

Based on what you said i don't think she is cheating. As stated, she has self esteem issues. Therefore, she may be unable to believe that she is deserving of a faithful spouse and as a result she brings up these accusations. If she doesn't think highly of herself she can't believe that anyone else will either.

I think she's a basket case. I'm willing to bet that her exbf wasn't cheating on her but, rather, dumped her because he couldn't stand being accused of it anymore. In her mind, she twisted that to mean that he was.

I would recommend that you reply to her differently for now on. When she accuses you, say "The thought honestly hasn't crossed my mind but, since you've been mentioning it so much lately you're making me curious. Or are you trying to gauge my opinion on a threesome?" When she reacts negatively to that, say "I can no longer be with someone who accuses me of doing terrible things all the time. I can never forgive you for questioning my integrity like this and I hope that you can get the help that you need to live a happy life."

Is she cheating? No, I dont think so. I think that she's too obsessed with trying to convince you to cheat. Do yourself a favor, put some serious distance between yourself and her.

I think you are right on. Anyone who is suspicious of cheating is looking to do the same thing. They are wired that way and are looking for others to be the same.
