Alright well here's the scoop. Me and my girlfriend have been dating for a year, and we were "together" for close to a year before that. So i guess you can say we've been dating for two years. Anyway...Im a senior in High School, were going to college next year, are colleges are only 20minutes apart, and we're definitely IN LOVE. Even throughout these two years we've seen each other for at least 4-5 hours everyday, only maybe 2 days a month that we see each other for less if one of us are grounded, and we're all each other think about. She's the only thing on my mind before I go to sleep, when i wake up, and even during school(yes it's affecting my concentration), we've talked about marriage during our junior/senior year in college and, kids, and everything, and just the other night i was listening to Radiohead (I listen to it to get deep in thought) and i played across everything that could possibly go wrong in a relationship, and i found ways we would get through it, and the whole 9. Now is it too early in my life to decide if shes the one to spend the rest of my life with? O and I think this is something to add...we've never gotten into a fight, i think were too in love to even consider that.

Your in the honeymoon phase and I think you need to wait till you get into your first real arguement before you decide to marry her.You don't really know a person till you have either argued with them or lived with them. You may think you got all the answers to your future problems but thinking about them os one thing but going through it is another.Your still young and there's still more things to learn about each other.Take it slow then you'll know. |

You sound very committed to your girl. But I say, wait till after college. I married really young. It lasted about 5 years. There are so many changes in your life from 18 years old to 24 years old. Just give it time. If you really are meant to be, your feelings won't change, they'll get a bit stronger, and you'll just become more certain.

You're a senior in high school, enjoy these days with your girlfriend. Your life will change a lot, and I mean a lot, over the next 4-5 years. So will hers. It doesn't mean you can't be together, but college life is different, and you'll be at different schools. Don't become a statistic by marrying too early. You've got plenty of time. If it's meant to be, it will happen. Just remember, Karma is the mother of all paybacks! |
