My friend told this guy that I thought he was hot. He told my friend that I was hot too. So he writes me on myspace and we talk on there for a couple days. Then he asks for my number and I give it to him. He texts me that night and we talk for about an hour or so. I said, "What are you doin?" He said, "Nothin. Layin on my bed all alone :(" So that's probably something there. Maybe?
But then the next night, nothing. The next night, I text him. Nothing. No response. So on Monday (when we're back in school) he texts me and we talk for like 5 minutes. Then I walk right past him and give him a small smile. A couple minutes later he texts me and asks me why I didn't give him a hug. So I told him the next time I seen him I would give him one. I see him like 30 minutes later and I walk up and give him a hug.
Then we talk for like 2 minutes about him texting me. The next day I see him and I walk up to him and I'm like, "Whats up?" I just stand there and smile at him for a good 6 or 7 secs. Then he holds his arm out so I could get a hug, and I hug him. And we have like a 3 minute conversation. The next day, we don't talk at all. I see him 3 or 4 times and he also saw me. But we didn't talk. Is there a reason he won't come up to me and talk? Why do I have to go up to him? Should I talk to him tomorrow?

He's either shy or afraid of being rejected. Guys hate rejection even if they don't act like it. One other possibility is that he is involved with someone else and afraid to come on too strong. |
