Is there a site to find a free lawyers? I need a good custody lawyer but dont have much money?

This is actually for my kids' dad. His ex wife took the kids nearly 2 years when he was in the hospital breaking their original custody agreement and filed for full custody in another county. She has repeatedly moved without allowing him to see the kids or know where she lived. He has went to the courts down their and they said he has to wait til she updates her address. Now when he got her current address from a court supena when the kids got in trouble he went down for support and now she is demanding child support. He doesnt make very much money and cant afford a good lawyer and she uses her father's money to buy the best lawyers to burn him in court.

there are no free lawyers, not even with legal aide, there is such a long wait to find one of them. unless u can get an attorney or act as your own attorney its pretty hard to take it back into court due to the expense. how about trying a father's advocate group instead.

Free???? Lawyer????? OMG I am tickled by this one!
I wish you both nothing but luck but don't hold your breath for a cheap lawyer.

Sorry but most lawyers want paid for their time. I don't believe their is a cheap one out there . It's sad that they all want lots of money to help people in need but that's greed for you. Maybe you can find one who will take payments but you have to call around to find out .
