Is thinking of someone else while married considered cheatiing?

I was seeing a married man, as well-documented on here, and each time I ended it with him (approx once a month) he would come begging back to me within days, as he said he "could not stop thinking" about me.

Stupidly I returned to him most of these times (I have now cut off ALL contact) but each time I stupidly went back to him, I was enabling HIM to cheat on his wife (I was single).

And yes, each time I ended it with him, he would tell me via text/voicemail that he was going "crazy" thinking about me, was "unable to function" and "unable to work". He would often show up outside my office, harass my friends to be allowed to see me, and send me loads of emails.

Soooo although this was not cheating on his behalf, I don't think those were exactly the actions of a man who was happily married or content at home. When I later spoke to his wife (after he was caught) she told me that she had not guessed he was cheating but that she knew something was wrong, as all they did was fight, and this is AFTER I had left him, so his home life had greatly suffered, even after I ended it.

Well, yes and no. If you do it consistently, and get off thinking about the other person, then yes.

If you just happen to check someone out, not exactly. Just as long as it doesn't become an obsession, you'll be ok.

There is emotional cheating. Which can be worse than cheating. I would say it all depends on how emotionally involved you are with this person?

How long have you been married? If your thinking about someone else then your hubby aint doing something or aint doing enough of something because if you're thinking of someone like that you aint interested in your hubby. Um married we've been together 11 year and married 7 and yah I think of other guys but only for a hot secgnd and then when I see my hubby I don't think of noone but him cuz he does everything right in the bedroom so to speak and that makes up for everything else.
