Is this selfish of me or is he being lazy?

My fiance is in college. And his hours at work have just went down to 14 hours a wk. So today we were having a conversation and he was telling me,that I'm going to be bringing home most of the money untill he becomes a server. Should I just shutup and pay the bills or should I tell his *** to find a new job.I mean he is my fiance and I love him, but we our in a recession. He is telling me were we are living and how things are going to get paid, but I'm suppose to be pulling the wait untill he becomes a server. And I feel as if it should be a partnership or him at least helping me.

no you are in the right........but don't be ugly about it or he will secretly resent you...be postive and try to help him find a job or help him fill out his resume or application

Server? as in waiter? Is this what he is going to college for? If so, shouldn't he be setting his sights a little higher?

When I was in university, taking more than a full course load, I still worked full time...no reason your fiance can't apply himself a little harder.

If I were you, I'd think seriously about this relationship. He seems to be looking for a free ride.
