Its been almost 3 months since she left me i moved from Pennsylvania to Washington state to be with her and we were together for 2 years living at her dads while i worked and saved up money. long story short, she cheated on me about 2 weeks after i got a job and i was stuck living with her until i got a plain home 2 weeks after she left me and got with her so called first boyfriend from high school . Anyway its been 3 months back home without her and it was real tough at first and still is somewhat tough because i cant stop thinking about missing her and all the good times we had, but the real problem is even tho i am starting to hurt less and less as time goes by. I keep having these stupid dreams i literally have the same dream about every other night on average. In the dream its about how i was still having to live with my ex for that 2 weeks before i could get a plane home, and every time i wake up it stirs up emotions that i cant handle. I don't know what to do and i try thinking of happy things b4 bed but it doesn't help at all, the dreams will not stop. On top of that ever since the dreams started happening about 1 month ago i felt even worse now and i even went suicidal. I need to know what is wrong with me because i am scared i am going to try to kill myself if this continues. I have even tried to keep busy and do things to get my mind off of it all and after 3 months i thought i would be over her, but i am not this is just horrible. I can't handle it, its too much.

last time i talked to her about 1 month ago she was real mean to me and put her boyfriend on the phone because aparently she didnt want to deal with me and all i wanted to ask her was why after everything i did for her she did that to me

I am very sorry to hear that she cheated on you... I had nightmares (these dreams) as well before and they took a while to go away... I felt the same way... At first I couldnt enjoy myself and have a good time. I finally let myself try to heal and move on by going out with friends. You may need to seek Dr. help. Especially if the suicidal thoughts keep coming up... I wish you nothing but the best and I hope that you can move on from this... |

Hey things happen to us all you know. You are going to have to eventually move on, you will know when you get there. It may not take too long, I was really panicky and sick when I broke up with my first bf, because of situations I couldn't fix. I get to talk to him again, but I have my own life. try to pray for her and give her a chance to get settled. |

The problem is that you're still living in the past.
You need to start living again. Go places, do things, meet people, and begin having a hope for the future. If your life was a car ~ the windshield would be the future, and the rear view mirror would be the past. You should be looking out of the windshield and only glancing at the rear view mirror, but your eyes are glued to it instead. |
