Ladies: How true is this statement, men are either the same or worse as children when they are sick?

Man, others are giving you some funny answers, for your question. I love them. Your question brought back memories, of the men who have been in my life. I'm sorry, but I agree, that it is men who become children, when they are sick. They seem to need their Mommy's, but unfortunately, it is the wives & girlfriends that have to deal with it. I laugh now at their behavior, but it wasn't funny then !!! I wanted to pull my hair out by the roots. I felt like "the go fetch girl"or something similar. Whew, they wore me out. I thought maybe I could catch a break, once in awhile, but noooooooooo, just when I could sit down, here would come this pitiful voice calling, Honey this or honey that. There were times, when I wanted to push their bed off a cliff. It was soooooo tempting, soooooo very tempting.

a man who isn't a mama's boy knows how to take care of himself. But yes, when mama's boys are sick they are worse then children cuz they should know better.

They're worse than children! I dread my hubby getting sick and do everything in my power to prevent it. When he is sick he constantly wants attention, to the point where I have to ring either my parents or his to come get our daughter because her needs annoy him and I should be focusing more on him because he's sick. The last time he got sick I got so tired of his whining and his 'I can't do anything for myself because I'm a useless male' attitude that I filmed him being a big baby and posted it on facebook for all our family and friends to see.

I would answer not usually. Some might be, but I would imagine a relatively equal number of women are the same way.

As I am I can only say I don't get sick. Last time I was down and out was the 9th grade. I am 43 now. I have never missed a day of work in my life. I would have to say women...

It's all vanity, but most of us guys will be nice to you about your butt...so just be nice, say "Awww!", and get him something to eat.
