I left an IM recapping my feelings over today's experience. It was a little rough this morning. It actually felt like he was deliberately pushing my buttons. We were able to smooth it over. He told me he wanted to spend time with me but had some things to take care of. Okay, understandable.
He got back with me this evening. He made no mention of getting caught up and not getting back with me sooner. He did tell me he was busy but didn't apologize for not being able to keep his word. As he has done in the past, apologizing and kept his word.
Then this conversation got a little stressed. Suddenly he had to go and would get back with me 1/2 hr later. He left so abruptly, I didn't get a chance to say anything. So, I left him an offline message explaining how I was feelings. (This was encouraged by him.)
I also have been really sick all week long. In the end, I told him I was going to the after hours clinic. Well, he never did contact me.
I thought, at the very least, he would have said he hoped I was feeling better or called me.
We are both adults. I am not feeling well, which is why this probably doesn't sound like an adult.
How would you feel?

Pay attention, I am going by HIS lead. He ALWAYS calls and chats.

Don't try to deal with life situations if you are hungry, angry, lonely, tired, sick or drunk. Get some rest and then figure out what punishment he deserves. Also if this is a recurring problem learn acceptance or find the front door. And I do hope you feel better soon. |

Part of the problem, a big part, is using electronic technology to talk. It's replacing face-to-face talking, and nothing good comes from that. At the very least call him on the phone and talk to him. |

You sound a bit clingy. It sounds like you expect a lot of him as far as wanting him to get back to you, and constantly letting him know how you feel. You need to back off of him a little bit or he will just want to dump you and get away from you. My hubby was like that when we were dating but I managed to train him :) |

I feel your boyfriend might have still been tender from the morning's bout with you. I feel you both need to come to the table and say that you love each other and start today fresh.
It is a beautiful day. I am sure that he loves and treasures you very much. I bet he worked hard yesterday and was just exhausted.

I would think he was thinking about all the messages I left, the messages filled with disappointment and emotion, and trying to figure out when a good time would be for him to communicate with me. He knows you're not feeling well...and men don't do well with that - or the fact that you're pissed at the same time. He's hiding out until the fog clears. |
