Ladies, have you ever been the "other woman" without knowing it?
Find answers to your legal question.

Ladies, have you ever been the "other woman" without knowing it?

Or have you ever just been played by a guy in general?

I'm very careful when I'm dealing with men. I just met a guy last week who pretended to be single. I chatted with him a little on the phone (wasn't really feeling him too much after that first conversation anyway). Then, the next day I got a call from his "wife" demanding to know who I was because she found my number in his phone. She said she had 2 kids with him. What a dirty dog. Have you ever had a similar situation?

OMG did his name start with an F?

LMAO

Yes I have been there. I got a call from the wife asking how did I know her husband. I go, um you mean my boyfriend? She chewed into me. "What do you mean your boyfriend? That's my husband" I had no clue. The guy took me on vacation for crying out loud...and he would spend weekends with me.

Sort of, I dated a guy and he would tell me that he loved me and he would go back to his other woman and tell her how much he loved her too.
I guess I'm slow because, he played me for a whole summer like that and I didn't even know.
That was sorry of that guy to do you that way, but it's good that it didn't go any farther than a phone conversation though.

I haven't, but my SIL was. She started dating this guy, and then slept with him. A few weeks later she was confronted by his fiance, who went on to stalk her, contact my MIL, and essentially make my SIL's life hell. Not fun.

I have, without knowing it. I am sure alot of women have and just either never knew or didn't find out until much later.

yes, It was a blessing that I found out early with both men. It really makes you lose respect for people like that.

I'm not sure it was exactly the same. He had girlfriends, but every time i was in town he would break up with them to be with me, then when i left they'd get back together. we were always friends. he got one of his gf pregnant & I told him that was it.

I think just about everyone has had this or something like this happen to them. And it isn't just guys who do it, beleive it or not. I had a married girl friend who used to cheat on her hubs every now and then, and she made up entire alternate identities for herself with the other fellow. I thought she was just trying to work out her frustration with herself more than with her husband or marriage; you know, she hated being a teacher so she invented other lives for herself with these poor guys who didn't know her. It was less about them and all about her, and easier to live a brief fantasy of being a lady airline pilot or an international sales manager for a huge company that required travel and other exciting things that she never did in real life, and that she probably wanted to do. For guys I think it has more to do with wanting a variety of poonanny and no obligations, but that too is a fantasy. We are accountable to those we sleep with, male or female, like it or not. Trying to act in ways that ignore that basic accountability is what continuously provides guests on Maury Povich and jerry Springer. I feel sorry for this creep's wife; she must have been through this wringer with him many times to be checking his cell phone numbers, don't you think? You dodged a bullet, girl!

Been there but then i scarped pretty quick, hey but you learn to be more careful and choose better

Oh yes. It wasn't directly discussed, but thought we were mutually exclusive. That is, until i got a buttload of nasty emails and IM's from his girlfriend. She was brutal...even though I felt as if I were the victim and honestly had no idea!. He had marriages and kids, he'd never admitted to and lied about nearly everything in his life. Still, I sympathized with her and explained that she should be very careful, 'cuz obviously he couldn't be trusted. She still didn't believe me and ended up cyber-stalking me for nearly a year. Untimately, he did it to her, too. He's obviously done it alot...there's alot to read about him on "dontdatehimgirl.com". It's a great site that every girl should use if they have the feeling their bf is not being honest.

Yes, I dated a guy who said that he just got out of a relationship, well... ended up after a week of dating he was still with her. ya' guys can be cruel like that...there are some good ones out there, but seems like the bad ones put out a bigger image.

Well, he wasn't married, but engaged and living with her. So, its about the same thing. I don't know why they do it, I guess they are just unhappy in the relationship they are in. It seems like men have a hard time being alone.

Yeah, I had became aquainted with a guy through a friend and every time I saw him he had a different date so I tthought he was single, he eventually asked me to dinner and we started seeing each other. About three weeks later he asked me to go help him pick out a brand new pick-up truck, something I liked too. We did, and then three days later he insisted I keep the truck and drive it for a couple of days so here I am, tooling around our small town with thirty day tags in the window of the new truck. A guy friend of mine stopped me and we chatted along the street and someone called my new boyfriend and told him, he was furious, we got into a big fight ( I felt I hadn't done anything wrong ) and I was late for work. I told my boss the truth and my boss told me the guy was married! I called and told him to come get his truck, told him I found out he was married ( with two children ) and wouldn't speak to him again. He had the nerve to write me and ask me to be his mistress (?), said he'd pay all of my bills and I could keep the new truck but I wasn't to date anyone else. I was furious, and never spoke to him again.
He is the only married guy I've ever been with and would never do that to anyone. I wanted to call his wife and tell her the truth in case she knew but I didn't because I didn't want to hurt her. I don't understand why anyone would be so gready and not explain to their partner that they are unhappy and want more. : (

Yes but not with a married man. It was before I was married and I started talking to this guy and met him at a party. I recognized him because he used to go to my work often. I worked at a local grocery store. He would always flirt with me, anyways at the party we exchanged numbers. I guess two weeks passed and all of a sudden he stopped answering my calls or calling me. I stopped calling him and then he called me out of the blue to let me know to stop calling him because he got back with his girlfriend.

I was dating another guy and he had just broken up with his ex but he said it was a for sure thing. Turned out he was still seeing her while seeing me and sure enough he broke it off to me in a text message saying he still loves his ex.

Some guys are dogs, and others are not. You gotta be careful who you trust.

Latoya H
yes i did and i let her know what the deal was i told her you need to talk to him about not me you marry to him i told her i hope you have a nice day.this what piss me off if you go call me with this call me ask me how im doing 1st before you start to talk about your low life husband that you have to deal with that how men are but you do have to be careful with men thats true but if he call you call his wife and tell her that he callin you that should fix him

Yes this has happened to me, but I found out about it, dumped the guy, and then like 5 months later when he went home from college, I get a phone call from his babys mama wanting to know if i slept with him, and who else did and all this other crap. It was ridiculous, but when she called I told her EVERYTHING because he was such a dog.

Once in college, this guy that I met that my friends liked had a girlfriend (child's mother) or wife that called me up because she found my number at his apartment. I didn't really care for him after going out with him once. He is a good looking guy but that's all he had to offer. I gave him the boot. He wasn't even nice. I told her what happened and what he told me. I didn't have a reason to lie. She accepted it. At first she was really angry but I wasn't going to get involved because I was out at that time. I never would have been in had I known the truth.

Beyond this experience, I don't think so. I seem to be a pretty good judge of character. I haven't had any real bad relationships. I'm married now to a good man. I was a little on edge when we first dated because he had only been divorced a little over a year. I didn't really know him or what his relationship was like with his ex. I definitely kept my guard up but now I don't because I know. I married him. :-)

mah
Yep, she smashed my face, broke her hand, we ended up the best of friends.

I sure have been! It was a guy from work and he lived like 40 minutes away in another town. He would always ask me on dates, and go to lunch with me. But i really didn't like him like that. Then like 4 months after i was there another lady i worked with asked him how was his baby...and he told me he was single and lived just with him and his brother...liar!!! But then his gf or wife text ed me "hey baby whats up?" and i knew it want him or he was drunk because we didn't talk like that. Then when i didn't answer she called, And started going on and on hows she knows about me...and bla blah blah. I just told her she didnt have to worry about me it's not even like that. Then she started cry and asking what she should do......it was crazy!!!
