Dont make him learn his lesson. It was cause marrage problems. Just forgive adn forget. You have to understand that holding a grudge or wanting revenge against the person you shared vows with is not good. FORGIVE AND FORGET.

Why does he need to learn a lesson?? He 'learns a lesson' by you sitting down and telling him how you feel and how whatever he did affected you - and then without yelling or interrupting you let him say his piece and his side - and then you make amends.

Giving him a silent treatment or cold shoulder - will only make him less apt to discuss things with you, and is quite childish. Communication is important and essential to a lasting relationship - don't start your marriage off plotting and conniving ways to teach him lessons and make him pay - talk to him.

I am so happy to hear you melt when he just hugs and says i love you. Love is that what u did. Love forgives. Treat him like a kid when he comes back to you. Its really difficult for men to say sorry to any one. This was his way of saying sorry to you. Give him a chance and then tell him, not to do it again. You need not teach him any lesson. He is ur husband and is going to be with you for a life time. Think about this and try to forgive. Infact I too am married and do the same thing. Though we fight, before sleeping , we make sure, either one of us will compromise so that next day is beautiful for us. And peaceful.
Never keep grudge or keep anger, its the way to spoiling relationship. Love is everything dear. You r newly married but follow this till the end.

By you saying "how can I make him learn his lesson" brings up lots of questions. What did he do so bad that you want him to learn his lesson?

When my and hubby argue we go to separate rooms we avoid each other until its time for bed. We then talk it out before we go to sleep. I've never felt like he had to learn a lesson.

Well I know I don't like being touched when I am mad. I would tell him I am mad right now, let me cool off then we'll talk about what he did and how it made you feel. Then give him a chence to apologize with hugs and kisses. Let him think about what he did for awhile.
