I don't know a good answer for this, but the arranged marriages have a statistical edge on the illogical emotional kind, at least in longevity. |

Arranged marriage is okay if you have kids involved. But they should not be put in the middle of anything.As long you both have this understanding. Maybe someday you will find your love for her again.No Fighting. |

My boss is in an arranged marriage. She's Vietnamese and it's still done a lot over there. Her husband is a lot older than she is, and she is not happy. The guy she was in love with (and still is in love with), her father wouldn't let her marry. Personally, I would never be in one if given the choice. I don't think anyone would. |

A love marriage of course. Perhaps you should move to New Delhi and have your parents pick out some shy, uneducated dope to fully answer the question. If you have the chance do you really think you can co-exist with a woman with braided armpit hair and a bad overbite compared to a gal you've bonded with who can't be without you or go 5 minutes without thinking about you? |

arranged marriage have a lower divorce rate than those who are not
part of it has to do with upbringing
as those in arraigned believe in the matchmaker and the concept
those of free choice usually choose wrong ( as evident by 85 to 50 percent divorce rated depending on age bracket ) since they tend to go by visual rather than spiritual and emotional compatibility.. that and western independent lifestyle is also incompatible with marriage |

Since I believe in love ... I would always want to choose the man I'm with ... whether dating, or marriage. Sometimes arranged marriages work out, but I'm feeling that marriage without love is a lonely place to be. |
