MEN: it seems have NO or less tolerance for being cheated on. MEN: what do u think of women that forgive this?

I am a man. What I think of women who forgive cheating more than once is that they are probably generally generous, caring, loving people. I also think they are probably generally naive, passive, and have low self-esteem. It's a mixed bag, I think.

It is sad that women forgive this, but it happens frequently. It is easy to believe someone you love. It is easy to think that he'll really change this time. Men are good at saying what you want to hear. And if you want to believe whatever he's saying, you can make yourself believe it even if you know deep down it isn't true. It shows that you don't think there is someone else who would treat you any better than the guy cheating on you would.

I was seeing a married guy for 1 year and when his wife found out she COMPLETELY put all the blame onto me.

HE took no blame at all.

Even all her family (his in laws) blamed ME 100% - the next time I spoke to him, he told me "her lot say that all men make this kind of mistake, it's cool" !!

Whereas I on the other hand, was threatened with bodily harm, and told my legs would be broken.

I will accept blame where necessary, esp in this situation, but by God, his wife was stupid for blaming me, cos everyone knows he'll do it again with a new girl, and who will the wife blame then?

I think someone who forgives a cheater is week, lacks self confidence.

Cheaters should be let got to see who ever they want. I wouldn't cheat, I wouldn't expect my wife to put up with me if I did. I wouldn't stay with a cheater.

Cheating is Zero Tolerance in my book, and I have to admit it astounds and annoys me when you have women who actually take back a cheating spouse. The way I look at it, is if a man has gone out of his way to sleep with another woman behind their partners back and then begs forgiveness, then at what point did he actually think of the spouse when he was going all the way with the other woman.

The worst part is that the spouse will get all emotional and then decide to "forgive" the cheating spouse when in fact this is when she should get rid of the spouse permanently.

But some women it seems love to make excuses for a cheating spouse and will use finances, children, loneliness,etc as a way of staying in the relationship when in fact its their lack of self esteem, options and other issues that they need to work on.

I don't tolerate cheating either! Not at all. If cheating is involved, I'm GONE. I think that girls that accept infidelity have confidence and self esteem issues. They don't value themselves, so they don't mind when others don't value them. It's a very sad situation.

I can understand what leads to cheating in a relationship but ultimatly even if u forgive u will never forget and the relationship will never be a healthy one again. Its best to just walk away as opposed to pretend u can forgive and move on with that person.
