Yikes!! The other woman lost a long time ago...unless she did not know that the man was married. Just adding that. I can understand the wife's side...she is the one who said I do, she is the one who had children before and that is HER man. The other woman will do anything to disrupt the family life. The man or should I say the little boy shes married to.
I respect the wife for holding the family together for the sake of her kids. However the wife needs to call the police and get a restraining order on the girlfriend, like yesterday. So yah in my opinion the "little boy" is the most pathetic. I dont respect anyone that goes back on his/her vows and cant keep his "business" in his pants

The Man! But if the wife is willing, and he's able, they should work it out for the kids. As for the other woman, he has rights as the father. You two will need to sit down and have a very soul searching talk about what to do about her, if he wants to keep in contact with the child, but he still has the finacial responsibility.

The other woman is not pathetic, she allowed the Phillips driver from the beginning. Crazy does not come to mind either. I know the word...STUPID. Her's is a non-event event, in other words, the affair was something that should never have happened.

In your example: the other woman is the crazy one. She's continuing to pursue a man who obviously doesn't want her and she's now showing him exactly why he should have never gone any where near her in the first place.

but as to who is the most pathetic? That's a tough one.

I'd say the one who is continuing to delude herself that she would ever have a fulfilling relationship with him and who has found that her life has stagnated because she's so hung up on that fantasy she can't imagine how much better her life could be without him. That's the most pathetic one.
