I always argue with my husband about this, they are two completely different types of love in my opinion, you cant even compare the two. I think your spouse should come first and then your kids, you have to live with your spouse forever, your kids move on and find a spouse of thier own. |

Good question! I think my children need me more and show me more love because of their needs. I think my husband loves me more because he wants to spend his life with me and my children will be gone and have a life of their own. Children show love out of need but a husband hows love because he does. |

My kids, they are insanely jealous of any quality time i spend with my husband and they think they must be with me 24/7 and it can get to monotonous... but i love my husband and i love my kids equally... Kids have an unconditional love that an adult can't give.

The love of a spouse is to protect you and love you.
The love of a child is knowing you will protect them and love them NO MATTER what they do... . where as a love of a spouse 'may' change if he cheats, drinks, beats you...

I feel that it is my spouse because that is a complete choice. Your children may have a natural love and connection, but keep in mind that they would love anyone who fed them. Your spouse has to make a choice. I can't say if your spouse loves you, but it is so much more to have the love of someone who gives you there heart because they chose you and you them. Your children love you alot I'm sure, but like I said, they would love anyone who cared for them. |
