Maybe i am worried over nothing but is this suspicious to you?

my dad works in another city.. but him and my mum are still married and everything.. and we visit him (and he visits us) fairly often

anyway we went up to see him for the easter long weekend and i had to use is phone to call my mum (as i had gone for a driving lesson with him) and her number was saved in his phone under X

why would he save it under X and not just her name? and i asked him and he just laughed and had a really weird expression on his face.

i also know that he goes out quite often to pubs and stuff because he said he gets really bored as he doesnt know anyone else in the city he is in.

should i be worried

How old are you? It is possible they divorced and just have, for some reason, not told you yet. I guess I would look at how they act when they are together? Are they still affectionate? Do they laugh together and otherwise act as they always have? Do they still share the same room? I would not be as worried about him going to pubs as he could be chatting with other guys about guy stuff, as I would about why your mom's name is listed as X. That could be his code for ex, as in ex-wife and he wouldn't want that on his phone. Then again, why not just have the number in his phone as Home, or your mom's first name. That is VERY weird. At any rate, no, don't worry as worrying never solved anything and if they have divorced or are planning on it, as much as you wouldn't like that, there is nothing you can do to change either. So, be happy and enjoy your visits with him. You might ask your mom why he has it listed that way. I mean if he just looked at you oddly when you asked, and didn't make up some excuse in case you mentioned it to your mom, he either has nothing to hide, as in he isn't doing anything wrong OR they are divorced and is going to leave the bomb on her to explain if you ask.

Finally, there are much worse things than ones parents divorcing. Mine got along even better AFTER their divorce and it was a huge relief to see them be great friends.

Well my love, sorry to say this, but men will be men. My father is the most conservative human being on earth, but guess what? I caught him in the act. I am a stepchild, so I had no business saying a thing to my step mother who was already accusing me of trying to break up her marriage because I was jealous of my father paying attention to her. Don't worry yourself as you can not control the situation. He is away and he will play while there.

My initial thought was how sweet. X as in a kiss...but maybe it means ex, as in ex wife.
Maybe they are divorcing.
You must ask them to be honest with you, you have a right to know.
