Me & my childs father live together in Ohio, I want to know if he still has to pay child support? he has 4 other kids that he pays child support for, but I don't want to file a child support order on him because we live together & he pays for half of everything. Any advice?

If the two of you are living together then I feel getting support would be difficult. Should the two of you end your relationship then he will become responsible for support. |

If he is living with you and paying for half of everything than I don't think that you can go for child support even if you did want to. |

Why are you even asking this? Just don't file. He lives with you so you shouldn't even be asking this and he wouldn't have to anyway. |

Well it all depends if you are getting any kind of assistance (public assistance) for the child/children. If you are then he will have to pay child support no matter if he is paying half of everything. If your not getting any kind of assistance from the government for the kids then you don't have to file for child support. |

umm i don't understand. if you live together and he is paying half of everything then that IS child support.
court ordered child support (like he pays for his other children) is given when the parents of the children do NOT live together. it is money for raising the children. |
