Not likely. The judge approved supervised visits for a reason, that reason has to change and he has to prove this change before the judge would remove supervision.
CPS will likely get involved, track the father's progress (if any) and determine if he's able to get visitation on his own. Its something he'll have to earn back and it won't be easy to prove he deserves it.

I vote that it is going to depend on why he has supervised visitation right now.

If it is for a legitimate reason ie: he can't properly care for the child, is an addict, abuser, etc. then it will probably take lots of time.

If you just decided to do it because you are mean and spiteful, then it will probably not take long and shame on you.

Need a lot more details than that to answer your question. Like why & how did he get supervised visitation? What is his history, abuse, neglect, depressed, just freaking nuts? Plus, how far are you willing to go to make sure he does or doesn't get his rights back?

Bottom line: Need more info....

If you didn't have any legitimate reasons for requesting supervised visitations, I most certainly hope so.

It really depends on why he has to be supervised. Is he a child molester, a felon, drugs.

If he's straight then there is no reason for supervised visits unless the child is very young. Yes he can get his rights back, so why would you want to deprive him of that?

Only if he goes via the courts and even then you can fight so it stays supervised.

You would both have to come to an agreement in court. Why are his visitations supervised to begin with? It could be months, it could be years, it could be never. Its all dependent upon why he has to be supervised to begin with.

He'd have to go back to court and have all the legal fee's all over agian. It could happen if it is worth it too him. But if you got his visitation supervised then there had to be a good reason. Don't worry courts take good long looks at this stuff befor jsut changing things unless your child is of age to decide for his self.

Depending on why he is only allowed supervised visitation will affect how long it would take for him to get unsupervised visitation. If there is physical abuse involved, then no. It will take him quite sometime to get his rights back enough to change anything. You need to talk to a lawyer concerning this matter. Especially if that is what he trying to do. Good luck.

It is going to depend on the reasons that he got supervised visitation in the first place. No family court judge is going to grant unsupervised visitation for your Ex until he has cleaned up his act completely and that is going to take some time.
