My girlfriend and I were talking about getting married. As that is not legal here in Michigan it would just be the ceremony. Is there any sort of legal documentation we could go through to get some rights as a couple? i.e. medical, insurance, job benefits...

I do not think in my state (Ohio) it is legal to marry but the company I work for gives benefits to domestic partners. It probably depends on your place of employment.

Nope and I hate to say this but,I hope that our Government never will let it be legal any where. If we keep allowing this it will be like Sodom and Gomorrah!
