I wouldn't say anything at all...maybe your wife will insist on taking your daughter, after all, the Jonas Brothers are little hotties... boy, wouldn't "seat #3" be surprised then? LMAO.
I really feel sorry for your daughter.

Just say from a co-worker. That should be enough information. Don't look a gift-horse in the mouth - that is for your wife. |

emotional friend? what is this world coming too? just tell her your friend gave you the tickets because his daughter is sick and can't go |

If you can't be honest with your wife about where these tickets came from, then it would seem that there might actually BE strings attached here.
Is your daughter really going to drop dead of disappointment if she doesn't go to this concert? Hell, she doesn't even know you have the tix.
If lying to your wife is the only way you know how to make your daughter happy, move on. If this is just a friend to you, you should be able to share with your wife that she gave these to the family. If you can't do that, you need to establish better boundaries with her or admit to yourself the reality of your so-called EM and her intentions. |

Come on Eddie, you just can't say that it is a big secret that will die with you, but, there is nothing too good for your precious daughter. It wouldn't be lying that it is a big secret. |

Just send your daughter with the EF. Let your wife think whatever she wants. Don't YOU make the rules around there, anyway? |
|

EF? I don't really know what you mean with that...from the way you phrase your whole question it sounds you have something to feel guilty about...if you can't be honest with your wife, you shouldn't accept the tickets. And then maybe re-evaluate your marriage or EF-ship? |

go spend 300$ on something really stupid for yourself on eBay and have it delivered to your work... and you now have a story for where you got the tickets. |

Say your boss at work gave them to you because he/she was unable to go with their kid(s).
Emotional friend? that's the lamest thing I've ever heard. |

Tell her you won them in a student raffle at work...raffle tickets were purchased by students but instructors each got free tickets...it must've been your (or your daughters) lucky day. |
