We have been building onto our house & we have also been helping an elderly neighbor clean her yard.
The lady mentioned that her husband only stayed with his 1st wife till his son got in high school.
Me & my husband got into an argument over basically nothing.
He said he was sick of me & mentioned that "the man" had a good plan, staying with his wife only for the kids.
I've often felt like an outsider when we are doing family activities.
This only instigates the feelings I have.
We have been together since 1993, our girls are 9 & 11
I don't have alot of friends since we've just lived here 3 years..
I don't want my family to worry, they think we are "Ole So Perfect" in our marriage..
BUT I can't live thinking I just along for the ride. I want to be part of the ride..

First off make friends, find your own happiness. Plan some activities for your family so that you are completely involved. You are the only person that can make yourself happy and go overboard with involving yourself in new ways with your husband and kids till you find the stuff that works for you. Most of all build up your confidence, that way either you will be able to move on when your husband does or he will see what an idiot he was for saying that about "the man". What a ridiculous thing him to say to his partner. |

Well, get in the car then if you want to be part of the ride. You seem lilke you're sitting there on the sidelines waiting for HIM to change into something you want. Maybe he wants something different from you too - and you need to find out what it is. Talk to him. Sit his happy a** down and have that big fat talk you've been afraid of for so long. Get it out in the open or the wound will continue to fester and bleed until it bursts. |
