My Husband forgot Groundhog's Day! Help?

Ok, seems to me every year my husband would never forget the special day.....candlelight Goundhog's dinners, romantic shadow chasing, you name it, he was all over Goundhog's Day....this year, NOTHING!! That's right, NADA! Not even a "Happy Groundhogs Day"....NOW, we are coming upon President's Day, he HASN'T EVEN MENTIONED any potential plans he might have for this special day either! What's a girl to do??? Should I leave him? Or act like I don't care???

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Valerie, you are the ultimate in answers! I "heart" you and all of your answers!!!

Now, in my opinion....he should be properly spanked! AND he had BETTER be prepared for Fat Tuesday on the 24th in that high traditional style!!! You deserve only the very best!!!

after the record colds in Dec and Jan, the warm spell we had in chicago, the last few days put him in denial that this is still winter.

=)

he'll remember this weekend when 3 inches of fresh snow coats his heart. =)

Well you know what they say. When the wife doesn't see the shadow from her ground hog day present, the bedroom stays cold for the next 6 weeks.

Maybe a lot of stress at work. Cut him some slack. Next year rent "Ground Hog Day" with Bill Murray a couple of days before to remind him.

I bet he expects you to do something special for him on D-Day. Don't let him get away with it.

If in addition to forgetting this holiday he abuses you verbally and physically, you should try to work things out.

If he's basically a good guy but forgot this holiday, you need to divorce him.

Wow! calm down. Many people forget stuff. I think ground hog's day is not that important. Yes the little critter comes out of it's hole and frighten by it's shadow. Big whoop! It's not as big as Christmas, or Valentine's day. But many people do not celebrate that. And no you should not leave somebody because he forgot an holiday such as Ground hog's day. Now if he forgets valentine's day then dump him. But other words don't! And if you want him to remember special holidays give him a hint a head of time so that he would be prepared. alright. Don't over-react so much. Stay calm and be patient!

If you are serious, you should talk to him. If he's REALLY that into these holidays and suddenly changed this year, he could be depressed.

Wow. Thats lame.
