ex martial relations gives a person tremendous sense of gratification. As it is prohibited by society , you get some weird pleasure in doing something against the accepted norms ( Like you are not supposed to shout in a library but many have felt doing that ! ). There is a feeling of excitement. Many people who have gone ahead with ex martial relationship , divorced their spouse and married the person with whom they had affair, in ex martial relationship have said same level of excitement did not remain after the marriage. It became dull and boring like first one ! |

Our sin nature draws us to the forbidden, the perverse, the corrupt, the wicked, immoral, etc. The fact that it's taboo makes it exciting to us, and some people cannot/will not resist these temptations.
Then they rationalize in their own minds that it's acceptable to indulge in such things, and mock the beliefs of those who try to live a more upstanding, meaningful life. |
