My Partner is really tired all of the time - How can I help?

My partner has a really high up stressful job, she works 50 - 60 hours a week sometimes more and is really unhappy at the moment. I have some issues going on in my family which is causing a bit of an issue with us too but she is down and tired all the time and it's really getting to me. Is there anything I can do to energies her or help her to feel less stressed?

First of all, rule out any health issues. From what you describe, however, she's probably just tired from working and the family issues may be to blame as well. I have some family issues going on with my husband's side of the family that involve he & I and I don't feel as though he's taken up my side enough and I sort of resent him for it and it's caused a problem in our relationship. Could that be the same thing going on with you guys?
The best thing is communication. Talk it out and maybe you can both come up with a solution that is good for the both of you. Good luck! |

We've started making sure we do things at the weekend so we feel we have had a break. Don't know where you are but I'm in the UK. In the past few weekends we have been to a National Trust property, RHS garden and Hampton Court Palace. These things are relatively cheap to do but we also plan on doing other cheap things too such as a trip to the beach with a picnic. The weekends have been really nice and seem to last a lot longer. |

Being patient first off. Which by coming here for advice seems like you are. Maybe if yall can possibly swing a night or two away that would help. Otherwise just doing the little things to help pick up the slack would be great. As some have said the pampering and all goes along way as well. Maybe a card or flowers sent to the work place. |
