1 - Beauty is not just one set of characteristics. What is beautiful to you, may be ugly to him (and others), and obviously - what is ugly to you, may be percieved as beautiful to him (and others).
2 - Beauty is not ALL about physical attributes. It's a combination of physical, personality, charm, attitude.
I don't see how it can affect you in any way, whether your bestfriend is marrying someone you find attractive or non-attractive. It should change anything in your friendship.
