My husband HATES my cooking. I don't know what esle to do?

He looked at the cooking and said "EWWW". My feelings are really hurt. Right after, he leaves and goes to MCdonalds. What should I do? I love my husband and I know he loves me, but he cannot stand the way I cook. Please help

In any relationship there's always a degree of compromise and respect. I would say your husband is being way too picky. Considering everyone else is fine with your cooking, he's definitely the odd one out. Talk about how his dislike of the food doesn't have to be so blatantly rude. Perhaps he could suggest improvements (in a nice way) or even cook with you. Turning it into a "couple project" could be fun and romantic.

Regardless, there's no excuse for his childish rudeness. He should definitely apologize and be more constructive. Rather than just complain about a problem, always be proactive in trying to solve the problem.

honeslty? what do other people think of your cooking?
if other people (4 or more) like your cooking then he's the problem, tell him he will just have to get used to it or he can cook himself:)
on the other hand if you are a horrible cook then take some lessons?

well ask for imput after all your mainly cooking for him. ask him what he likes .. does it need more spices .. is there a certain flavour he likes or taste. what are his favorite foods. offer to have him assit you in the kitchen maybe you can see what he means.. also can't hurt to ask his moither what are his favorite foods get a few recipes from her.

let hjm cook his own meals or eat at mcdonalds and when his arteries are clogged and he drops dead from a heart attack you can find a nice guy that likes your cooking lol.

Stop cooking for him... Do you like your cooking? If so, cook for yourself and tell him to figure out his own meals because it's a "slap in the face" to cook a meal and get a negative response for your effort.

I am a good cook, but my husband is a chef, so he does the big cooking at home. I am good at what I do, I guess... And he appreciates it every time I cook for him.

If he's that picky let HIM do the cooking then.. Just appreciating your effort would be nice!

Tell him to cook for his self his so ungrateful

Ask the women in his family for the recipes for those family dishes that he likes. Ask him in particular which dishes he grew up eating that he really loved and ask for that one in particular. Make these dishes following their recipes, trying to get it as close to what he remembers. I like the idea of my husband having some version of his childhood comfort foods, the same way that I do. Perhaps the style or seasoning of the food is too much for him, ask him particular issues he has with your food. You could also consider asking him to start helping to prepare the food with you. Do some recipe browsing to find something that both of you would be interested in trying, get the supplies and make the dish together. Maybe involving him in the decision making and process will resolve some of the complaints. Also, simply take turns being responsible for cooking dinner. Why shoulder all the burden to hear only complaints and have it go to waste?

Hire a cook - tell him that you'd rather him eat at home instead of McDonald's. lol

Talk to his mom, find out how to make his favorite foods.

Tell him that it is hurtful and offensive when he rejects your cooking, ask him what exactly it is that he doesn't like about it.

Ask him to show you how to cook something that he likes (then he can't complain that its done wrong).

If he likes McDonalds, he may have a undeveloped palate and just can't appreciate good food, so you'll have to eat things that you like with your friends and family while he's happily chowing down on nutritional trash.

That's a bit extreme, but have you ever sat down and talked about what he likes, and tried making it?

I've never met the man, and I can tell you that he likes hamburgers. If he likes McDonald's, he's gotta love a grilled burger. Hint: mix in some garlic, bacon bits, and blue cheese in the meet before throwing it on the grill. Yummmmmm.

Next time; just make him a bacon cheeseburger and some fries. Takes about 20 minutes. Maybe he'll be happier with that. lol Good Luck.

lol, This happens with most wives, what i would do is. get a cook book, take classes, don't give up.

and no matter what your husband will always love you, (good cooking or not)
