My husband and I have had our problems, but one in particular has been on going since the start. When we got together he lived with a man "John" and every time we would make plans this man would call my husband and demand that he come home and hang out with him or he was going to throw him out.
Now 2 years ago this man made some disparaging remarks towards myself and my husband told him off and they quit speaking. Fast forward to today and this man has found my husband on a social networking site..they exchanged numbers and email. All good right? Except my husband now texts non stop with the person all day..to the point of ignoring me and the kids. He accused me of having a problem with him having male friends..I told him I have a problem feeling like the kid who got dropped on the playground because a supposedly cooler kid came along.
I am really on the fence about what to do, but I do know I am tired of fighting for a higher level in the pecking order with my husband.. this is the way he acts with any male friend..non-stop texts/calls email etc. and each time our relationship suffers..he gets mad that I don't talk to him and madder when I mention that he has spent all his time focusing on someone else so when would I have had the chance.

maybe your husband is gay.
that would explain why he dropped everything to hang out with "john" when he called. my husband would have told him to **** off and we would find our own place to live. its weird to me that your husband texts men all day and ignores his family..

Sounds like a really strange relationship between these two guys. If your husband is so selfish that he puts this man ahead of your happiness then your marriage has probs. Your husband is selfish and unreasonable and doesn't seem to care how it is affecting you. |

You already know what to do. Tell him its time to choose: either he spends lots more time with you and the kids or it's over. Before you do tell him that, make sure you've already spoken to a lawyer so you know the exact steps you need to take to protect your kids and yourself as you give him and his computer friends the boot! |

I would leave him and make him pay child support. That will be a good wake-up call. If he changes his mind, tell him that it's a little too late to do the right thing now.
