last weekend , which turned to a fight and then it almost led to a pushing and hitting me. (not so bad) after that he felt kind of guilty and left me alone. so i was quite hoping he will come and say sorry. this is putting me into depression. like i am not sleeping (l sleep for 3 hours), he shuts the door so i sleep on couch, nor having my food from last one week (like i just have a cup of juice) then i am done. i have lost my appetite completely and i cant it believe it myself.. my husband knows i haven't eaten nor slept. but what i dint get is even though he has made a mistake he is not even apologized till now. he is walking around as if i don't exist. forget love, i mean does he even care for me or is he feeling guilty to come near me. should i go and talk to him because we haven't spoken for a week now.

i want to give him a chance. next time he trys to hit me, i quit.

Don't stop eating or drinking because of spousal fight. Act normal. May be your husband has an ego problem and can't say sorry. If he acts normal and apologetic then don't press for an apology. When there is a good time, sit down and talk about your differences. That will work. |

If you want to give him a last change go and talk to him ,but if he was violent once the possibility to be violent again is 100%. Maybe he needs some anger management classes.And I think you need to communicate more with each other. |

stonewalling (ignoring each other is very bad, breaks down the marriage) I have an abuser husband who does this our marriage won't last and neither will yours unless you learn how to fight fairly. both parties have to be willing, it's not happening here. good luck |

Why wait until he hits you again? You're in a sham of a relationship and the disrespect is through the roof. He is abusive and controlling and you're docile and submissive. It's hardly a marriage and wouldn't be legal as a working environment. |
