It is good he is in therapy sometimes it is better that he can off load some of his problems to someone he doesn't know.
If he is depresseed maybe try and go out a bit more, a change of seenery is good sometimes even if it is just a walk to the local park to have a picnic and spend a few hours lying on a blanket, playing basket ball, etc. It helps to get out the house and get exicted about doing anything different. Go down the swimming pools maybe.
