To make a long story short, my husband starting talking to this girl who works at his job. First it was only instant messages then very quickly graduated to phone conversations and the like. It was always some sob story though, she has no money to pay her bills, she has to get a second job, so on and so forth. Next thing you know my husband is telling me that he wants to give this girl money so her electricity wont get cut off. I say that hypothetically I would mind if she were to be doing what she needed to do to get back on track. Of course I don't know this girl from a can of paint and last night my husband after he drops me off at work, goes and meets her somewhere and gives her $150. I find this out when I called him and he mentioned that he was talking to her, and then I ask him what he was talking to her about and then he happens to mention the money and thats when he tells me "I thought I told you" when I say no you didn't he goes into some crap where he says that he just wants to help people and stuff that I don't believe. So I asked him to end the friendship since he was doing things that he didn't tell me about and he was talking to her when I wasn't around, but my this isn't even the first time that something like this has happened. I don't know what to do about it anymore.

Your husbands benevolence has gone too far. Tell him to send all of his needy office chums to the government office of welfare relief or to their nearest house of benevolence where money loans and other charities are offered to the public. Tell him that every dollar he is giving to someone else is money that could have been useful to you in your marriage and that must stop immediately. Not telling you about his friends, especially the female friends is a form of infidelity. Talk to your husband about how uncomfortable his charity and concern for other females is making you and take him with you to a marriage counselor because he needs to concentrate more on keeping you happy and stay out of other women's business. If he refuses to stop and won't get counseling, move out until he understands that you are not putting up with infidelity in your relationship. |

There are people who can make one feel very sorry for them. I've given out money to people who were just scamming. This gal sounds like bad news. I pray your husband opens his eyes before he becomes a sugar daddy minus the sugar. |

There may or may not be more going on, but either way your husband handled it dishonestly. He knows he didn't tell you about his plan to give her money. If it is a joint account-take your money out and put it in an account that only you can access. If he doesn't like it, tell him"oh, I thought I told you" I was going to do this.
You said this has happened before-is it always women that he "helps"?
If it is, I would be inclined to believe that he is doing more than helping them. |

OH HELL NO!!!! girl if i were you i'd start an sccount and open a po box a few towns away so he won't know about it and start saving my money. he'd be suspicious if you wanted have f the account now. but then again if hew were able to make tat withdrawl without you, take some of it and hide it. that is so effn disrespectful! he's either doing it to her or wants to do it to her. |
