Perhaps you should try and be ok with the fact that he is needing a little space right now. As we have no idea what caused him to go out and get his own place, we can not offer much help here. Keep the lines of communication open with him, without being overly pushy.
Do I think he will come back? Hard to say, as again I do not know why he left.

Sorry, none of us is psychic. Let him be for a while. You don't talk about the problems you were having, so it's difficult to address those. If he won't even talk with you, you have little choice other than giving him time. You'll get tired of it after a while. Obviously, if there are children involved he's still responsible for being in their lives and for helping to support them.

wow, things must have been pretty bad for him to do such a drastic thing. I don't know what drove him there in the first place, thats the main determining factor of whether he will come back or not.

Jill it's time to get up and get your big girl panties on. You've gotta get in survival mode! Don't sit around waiting on this man to come home. You give him a reason to regret he ever left. Take this time to find yourself. Girl when mine did I started working out and truly enjoying life.
