i eloped with my husband 1.5 years ago. i am an australian he is an egyptian. i moved my life all for him and was living egypt. 8 months ago he sent me back to australia. i thought i was preparing the weding party, thats what we agreed. but the thing was he lied to me and ignored me for 3 months than started to speak to me again. and we trying to sort out things. but he now tells me he been lying to me for 1.5 yrs and is smoking hashish and loves it. what do i do? do i forgive him? he is one lie after another.

i would try to get out of this marriage if i were u. he sent u back because he was doing things he knew would upset u. i wouldn't want a man who lied to me because without trust u have no marriage. |

I would get an anulment. Being with a drug addict is no life. Be glad he sent you home. The lies will never end especially while on drugs.
I was married (was) to a man who got involved with drugs. I live with a great man now and my ex husband is on his third wife and is miserable. Has lost house after house, and doesnt see his own children anymore. They dont want to see him either, he only causes them pain.
Consider yourself lucky and sever the tie.

Once someone lies to you and see's that you'll forgive them, what's to stop them from doing it again. He will think he controls you and that it doesn't matter what he does because you'll always forgive him and let him back into your life. Don't start on that pattern, believe me. File for divorce and start your life over again, that's my advice. |

sounds like the marriage isnt worth saving, a marriage based on lies will never work.. my advice get divorced before your heart gets any deeper into this or before you have children that will have to pay the price for stupid decisions u've made.. because its more then obvious this is headed for a road of disaster, heartache and disappointments.. get out now before its to late.. |

To send you back to Australia and ignore you for 3 months says to me very clearly that he doesn't love you. Nobody could do something so hurtful to someone if they really cared. You should rid yourself of him and move on in your life.

Something about this story isn't clear. you say you eloped with your husband then you say you thought you were preparing for the wedding party. He sent you back home 8 months ago and ignored you for 3 months of that time. Oh well, now that he's admitted to smoking hashish it's a good time to fly the coop. Druggies will never amount to anything and you will have a miserable life with him. |

Is hashish a drug? like crack or something like that? well dear if he has an addition then you should consider your self lucky you are away from him. Living with a man like that can make your life hell consider getting a divorce it looks like to me your husband loves the hashish more than he loves you, go on with your life and find someone less ignorant. Did you check his antecedents before you decided to elope with him? This world abounds with such shams who in the guise of hardcore lover, who cleverly trap the girls and exploit them to the hilt. These professed lovers capitalises on the naivety of girls and take them for a ride. After milking these poor girls dry, these boys drop them like hot potato. But now do not get swayed by his sweet tongue. You are not cut out for this cheap guy who is boozing himself into intoxication. You better come out of this bad marriage and this treacherous guy and save your life from being further exploited. Such people are incorrigible and you can never better him.
