My husband keeps making me remake his fruit drinks b/c he is being nit picky?

He's an adult, isn't he? Have him make his own da**ed drinks in the future. I would make him 1 drink, and if he didn't like it, I'd show him where the blender, etc., is, and have him do it himself. You're his wife, not his waitress, for crying out loud!!!

Well, first of all you're a better wife than I. I would have shoved that blender straight up his... nose.

Anyway, you should start writing down the exact recipe so you'll know what to do next time, and save yourself a lot of guesswork. And make a HUGE BATCH all at once and freeze individual portions in freezer bags. Then simply run it under warm water and pour into a glass when he wants one. Tada!

Yeah, I think he's being nitpicky and in fact, your husband's behavior seems a bit over the top. If I were married, and acting that way toward my wife, I'd hope she would talk some sense into me. Hell, I'd be glad simply to have a wife who cared about me enough to make fruit drinks for me.

Maybe he's just being honest, but really, he needs to toughen up and be satisfied with what you made him, especially considering all the work you put into it. That's just my opinion. I mean, if you're asking him to evaluate the drinks you made him, then I can understand why he would be critical, but it sounds like he's just making a big deal out of this.

In fact, if you're tempted to leave him, I'm available. Just kidding of course.

You sound nice and trying to make him happy-
but if he keeps this up- tell him " you know where the store is, you know how to use a knife and a blender- maybe if you show me how you want it done I'll know how then." If he says no then no more you making it for him, if he says he'll show you- make him do all of it so that he can get an understanding of all that you go through because you trying to make him happy. Let him show you every step- I promise he won't make it perfect the first time unless he already works at Jamba Juice. Then once he does make it the way he likes- say "wow, that's going to be hard to remember and with everything else I have to do- laundry, dishes, breakfast, lunch, dinner, cleaning,
etc so and so-forth, maybe it's best if he makes his own fruit drinks for now- since he obviously likes them the way he makes them."

first off tell your husband to get a grip, if your not doing the drinks up to his "high stadards" then leave the art of beverage making to him. if you want to get a good recipe then keep adding bits to the drink, and write everything down. when you get a good taste stick with it.
then follow the recipe in future, every drink will taste the same.

I would tell him if he doesn't like it then he can get off his *** and go make it himself. There is absolutely no reason he should treat you like you are his servant. Tell him to come up with a recipe that has the perfect amount for him and then you will make it that way. I would personally not put up with that.

ask him to make his own!.. or.. Demand he makes you a drink and start being picky about it.. give him a tast of his own medicine..and later tell him that's how you feel when he complains about your drinks.

your kidding i hope.. this man needs to start making his on drinks. the sooner the better. if you keep treating him like he is a child than he will act like one . come on who made you his mommy. oops don't know many mommies that would do this. if you cant stop this .. than make a gallon at a time with the same ingredients each time. some people sure take advantage of a nice person.
