and he only says he loves me in response to my saying it to him. i get a perfunctory kiss when he's walking out the door and that's it. do you think he fell out of love with me? he says he still loves me; we have had multiple conversations about this at my prompting because i don't want to be in a loveless marriage. i'm afraid he's only staying in our marriage b/c of our 7 month old son, but i don't think that should be the only reason to stay together. we've been married for a year and a half and have gone to counseling, but he won't go anymore. i need advice.

There's nothing wrong. He still loves you. You just need to understand each other's needs.
Men and women are built differently. Men generally don't need kisses and physical touch to feel loved, but women do. Men generally show their love by the things they do for you.

SOME guys just arnt as affectionate as we want them to be. How does he treat you the rest of the time? Does he pay attention to what you say? Does he spend time with the kid? Does he belittle you in front of friends?
When kids are little sometimes things can be so hectic that the nicetities of life are forgotten. You say you have had multiple conversations about this, yet obviously you are still not satisfied. Why is that? What is your gut telling you? Do you still love him? Does he kiss you back if you kiss him first? |

What is the reason he gives you? Obviously there is something wrong otherwise he would not act this way. Ask him a direct question and tell him to give you a direct answer. In my opinion it is just not normal for a man to act like this if everything is ok. |
