My husband side of the family are very negative and always saying **** about our kids. How do i deal with it?

You don't deal with them...you do not let people in you or your kids lives who doesn't deserve to be in it.

I do not talk to anyone in my husbands family because of all their negativity. I have never argued with them about their ways or anything...I simply turned the other cheek and live my life with my husband and daughter. His mother tried to apologize, I accepted but it didn't change my views of her. One of his cousins tried to add me on myspace, I simply clicked "deny". Easy as 123 and no drama :)

I do not have the time or patience for petty ignorant people.

Have a conversation with your husband about his family and tell him how you are feeling about the negativity.

thats so sad!!! :"( have a personal conversation with him and tell him the things that they have been saying and how you feel. maybe he can talk to them and tell them they need to change the way he talks about your kids.

Stand up to them, tell them to f*** off. If they want to see the kids, they need to say nice things. I'd say why would I want my children hanging out w/ a bunch of negative jokes like you. So they can grow up and be like you, pffft yeah right!!

Tell you husband to do something about his family. oh hell. if that were my husbands family, they would be knocked out already. my husband is not the eldest but everyone listens to him and does what he says. WHY? cause he is the only one working out of 7 kids and when they need help, they come to us(but, he always tells them "get a job")...lol...but yeah, your husband should be doing something about it. I honestly dont know what kind of in-laws live on this earth but geez...i never had any problems with my in-law or any of my ex's family (except for one ex's sister, she hated me cause she was really close friends to one of the girls he dated before me, and she wanted them to get back-so nonsense)...but yeah, if they dont like your kids or say things about them you should probably blow up and tell them off-if your husband wont stand up for them, you should!

You need to sit down wuth them and talk about it. Tell how it makes you feel and bring it ti attention. Ask them to stop in a nice way if possible.

you need to sit down with your partner and tell him that its getting to you. even if you get him to have a talk to them for you. this is not fare on you or the kids.

Don't go to visit them. They are negative and they WILL affect your children.
Hopefully your husband agrees that they are negative because it will be a lot easier to tell his family that you're not going to be visiting them very much.
