My mind is so scattered i don't know who i want or what i want anymore..feeling guilty cause i have a boyfrien?

I just can't figure out what i want..if it's better for me to stay single? Or if I should stick with this guy? I care about him and I like him a lot, but if i'm feeling this way it isn't fair to him. I am dealing with so much, and even though he's 'there' i'm dealing with this stuff on my own. I'm so stressed and I want anymore more crap to deal with, i'm just drained. I really have never felt more confused..what do i do? how can i figure out what it is that i want? i have no idea :(

Perhaps you should take breather from dating and work on yourself. Life is too short to be miserable and you're too young to be stressed.

Whoa...slow down! Take a break. Inhale deeply...count to ten...better now? It sounds like you're going through some turmoil in your life. Now is not the time to make any important life changing decisions! If this guy is a decent man, he will understand that you need time to think. Explain to him what you've just said here, and maybe suggest being friends...for now. Don't pressure yourself into deciding anything at this point. Somewhere in the future, you will know what you want, and it will be clear. Give yourself the time to realize what that is. Hope this helps....

Hello, I know just how you feel I have had this problem in the past an to some degree still do but things have improved for me over time. I started to see a counsellor to help me with my problems she has ben very good she has never judged me nor criticised me over what I have said but has helped me come to terms with my problems. I know some problems are worse than others but let me just say that mine had me feeling suicidal for a time as my mind was so screwed up with my problems. To cut a long story short I was the victim of a head on road traffic accident in which the driver who caused it died. This is something I have struggled to come to terms with as well as my own injuries an all this happened almost two years ago.
I mean what I say talking to a complete stranger like a counsellor will help make you feel much better over time just give it a try, it does not mean you are nuts to see one just that you need someone to share your problems to who will not be judge mental an offer impartial advice what have you got to loose? ask your GP for a referral.
