Stay with her or leave her. Either way you still have to do everything. Do you prefer to do this with her or without her? |

Keep cleaning. Now you know what women go through. When I was married, I also had to do the yard work and put up Christmas lights, fix things etc...... |

Find out why she quit doing housework. Is she depressed, overwhelmed, taken for granted, busy with the kids. Just throwing some possibilities out there. You should talk to her and find out what the problem is before you can figure out how to fix it. |

She probably stopped cleaning because she like you are now was sick of doing it all herself.
Maybe if you know "helped her out by cleaning up after yourself" then maybe she wouldnt have stopped.
I bet your to be blamed for this problem |

Does she work? Does she feel overwhelmed by the housework on top of her job?
If she doesn't work, then you need to explain to her that you both have responsibilities, and your partnership should be equal. If you work 8 hours a day at a job, then she needs to pitch in at least a few hours a day picking up the house.
Or: make a list of all the duties (sweeping, washing dishes, laundry, etc), and divide them up. ASK HER which chores she is willing to do, and try to divide them up based on your schedules. For example: The laundry should be done during the daytime, so whoever is home during the day needs to take care of the laundry. The dinner dishes have to be washed after dinner, the dusting should be done during the day (so you can SEE the dust, LOL), etc. |

Live with it, have you asked her to help, ask her why she stopped. Maybe it was because she was doing to much work, offer fot her to help and you share equal amounts of work. |

You have a good wife. She gave you time to be on the computer. Go back, inspect the house, maybe you miss a dirty spot. |

Just ask her for help. I think she's just trying to prove that you need her just as much as she needs you. Talk to her and remind her that marriage isn't just a engagement, it's a partnership |

She's probably depressed. I live alone, but when I'm depressed I don't feel like cleaning or even picking up stuff. Try to cheer her up, make her feel valued. Tell her that you love your home and want it to look nice, but can't do it all by yourself and need her help. If she's seriously depressed, she might need counseling/meds. |

Do you both work? You should both be helping with housework if you both work. If you do not then you should do the majority. If she does not work you should stop cleaning and let her spend her days in filth. |

Bring her over here so my husband will then really have something to complain about. I will move in with you as I don't mind cleaning as long as you don't mess it up withing 5 minutes of stepping inside the door. Deal? |

Next time you are cleaning up the house and your wife is around just pick her up and put her in the dustbin and put the lid on tight so she cannot get out. Nail it up if you have too. |

Make a chart & put it on the refrigertor. Mon-living room & dining room Teusday-Kitchen Wednesday Bedrooms Thursday- office or whatever rooms you have Friday- if she is able to clean tell her you are vacuuming & she is to wash the floors & buy on those fun swiffer mops, tell her to windex all mirrors & clean the bathroom while you vacuum. So try to just get her to prepare for the weekend if you both work on Fri but are off on Saturday make it your routine then. I hope this works out...this is how I do house work & I have almost no clutter to make it all easy. So you can cheat & not dust the l.r. & d.r. every week if you house stay pretty clean but this gives you a guide. Hope it works out well for you...Oh, I get up every morning & spray clorox spray cleaner on my counter tops & we have a dishwasher so that little everyday should help....when she washes the floors it is all that are not carpeted. |

Not many detail provided so it is hard to answer. Only thing I would say is if she stopped cleaning the house, how is her hygiene? If that has slipped it's time to move on. |
