You are being used. And if he tells you otherwise, then how come he is still with his wife but doing you?

He needs to take responsibility for his own situation. If he is unhappy, he needs to end his marriage. He is asking for you to put yourself in a very bad situation- don't go along with it.

Remember you are only hearing his side of the story. He is only going to tell you all the bad things she does to him - he won't mention any of the bad things he does.

If he is really that unhappy in his marriage, he should leave her.

Weather he intends to or not, he is using you. He is having his cake and eating it to.

Out of respect for yourself, you should end the "hook up" portion of your friendship.

If his wife treats him bad it's still no reason to cheat on her. If he wants out he should be a man and tell her, then you two can start a life together. Don't mistake my advice for a judgement: cheating is dispecable and the most horrible thing you can do to another in a relationship. It's a complete violation of trust and 100% selfish, no exceptions.

I wouldn't buy the whole "his wife treats him like dirt" act because they are married. No one forced him to be with her.

I think you should back off more and tell him that you dont want to get serious so he can go work things out with his wife!

He is using you honey. I've been there. I was in your exact shoes, only they weren't married but they had been together for over 3 years, and I was in love with him. But the truth of the matter is men like that will never leave their wife/gf for you. They just want something different, and he probably knew he could get it from you. What I did was I gave him an ultimatum I told him it was either me or her. Guess who he picked when it got down to it? Her, and I eventually went on with my life, after I realized what he was doing. We are still friends, but not as close as we were before hand. You need to look deep in your heart and find out what to do.

You should leave him alone, he is a married man and I don't think his wife will be too happy if she finds out. This guy is a lying, using, cheating scumbag. Just think, if he is cheating on his wife and you both get together, what is to say he won't just cheat on you. Dump him pronto and hope that you may be able to salvage some semblence of friendship

HE needs to chose. His wife or you....it there are children involved than he should stay with his wife. But of course you can have more deeper feelings with someone else even when your married. Just, tell him if you truly care. Tell him, his wife or you.

You're definitely treading on thin ice here. This guy is cheating on his wife with you. One of the best ways to predict future actions is by past actions. And if he's cheating with you, he's probably done it before (no matter what he says), and will likely cheat on you if you manage to get him to divorce his wife. For your own sanity, you should break off the relationship.

This guy is unhappy in his marriage but afraid to get out or to work to make it better. In order to find some pleasure in life, he is using you. Don't play along. Tell him to give you a call when the divorce is final.

How will you feel if the wife finds out and confronts you? Do you want to be in that situation?

A lot of the thrill of this kind of relationship is the risk it involves. Once the thrill is gone, there usually sin't much left.

You deserve better. Don't lower yourself to this level. You may lose him as a friend, but if he truly cared about your friendship he wouldn't have gone down this road.
