Hello everyone, I am having a little situation with a friend that I knew from childhood. I have a friend, we knew each other before we were even 5 years old. She moved away when we were 7 years old. I went to Florida to visit her years after, when I was 11 years old. then I did not see her till I was 14 . That was the last time I saw her (we are 33 years old now). I havent heard from her in maybe 15 years. She finally contacted me on facebook last week. She told me she opened a facebook acct. just to find me. ok, here's the situation. She is married with 2 children now, which is a blessing but her husband seems a bit controlling. He made her close her acct. with facebook because she "did not ask him for permission". I gave her my number so she called me today and told me about him. She said he will not let her have friend unless it is one of his friend's wives. He is mad that she contacted me and now she does not know if I will be able to visit her this year in florida (where she lives). As you can see, he does not even want her to have female friends. She told me she cant even go anywhere with her own cousins because he does not allow it but he can go out anywhere he wants. He wont even let her go shopping alone, he waits in the store and watches her,also tells her what clothing to buy. I also hope he is not beating her (i did not ask her this). When we were little, her father was like this with her mother, I can remember. I am praying about this. thanks in advance and God bless.

Well, I guess what you need to do is help her. She's in a situation where like she can barely breathe. I think you should be there for her and advice her (I'm not telling you to go to Florida that can cause a problem) just keep talking to her by phone and make her understand and see in what situation she is, I guess she needs somebody to tell her and push her to the right direction. Maybe that's why she's telling you her situation because she needs somebody to help her or tell her she needs to do something about it. Good luck and don't leave her alone. |

he is a control freak. she needs you her friend dont leave her alone maybe she can call from another phone so he wont punish her, ok you remember and follow your heart and u will know how to help her, i have faith in you, i know you will do what you feel best .bless you and her .she is seeking help and coming to you , she knows you know her best, even though she is afar, friends sense things about one another, hope it all works and you find an answer, |
