I've heard it said that once you stop looking for it, it comes to you. Do you believe that?
Well, even w/ my limited experience...I've decided that I am just going to currently stop looking for it but remain open to possibilities. I am graduating from college next May (2010) & I've decided that since I'm beginning to look at graduate school, job opportunities, & possible relocation along with my university extracurriculars (class, work, church, volunteering, Student Foundation, classical choir, being Vice Pres. of Membership of an honors frat...that I'm a pretty busy gal...All that to say:
I believe that whenever it happens, it will happen. I'm not going to look for it, I will continue to be a friendly person & although I feel like I'm ready for it...I know that even though I've dated guys in college, the right one will come when I'm least expecting it...
I don't know, I guess what I'm trying to ask is if this a good idea for right now? I've also concluded that I worry way too much, apparently for no reason either...so my mother & my friends say...Ugh, yeah...so much for avoiding schoolwork like the plague, just need to vent.

I don't know if that is the solution, but I do know that life is a lot more enjoyable if you aren't obsessing about finding Mr. Right. And if he does come along, he won't look at you and think, wow, is that gal ever desperate... |
