A bag contains 6 cherry, 3 oranges, and 2 lemon candies. You reach in and take 3 pieces of candy at random. Find the probability.
2 orange. 1 lemon.
(Please show me step by step how to to work this problem. I was able to the other day and today I can't even remember what the first step is! Thanks.)

You need to know the total number of candies, then you need to know the total number of ea. color. So, here's how it works.
30 (for ex.) total candies
2/30 are red
4/30 are blue
6/30 are green
10/30 are yellow
7/30 are brown
1/30 are dark brown
So, if you pick out one candy, and it is red, you had a 2/30 chance of picking a red candy. If the one you picked was green, you had a 6/30 chance that the candy was green. Get it? To get the percentage, you'd divide the number, ex. 15/30 is a 50% chance, by dividing 15 by 30.
