Please give me your advice on this! i really need it!?

I am 16 and have been very unlucky in love. I have always been attracted to the type of guys that are bad for me, that cheat on me and one time even hit me. There is a certain guy in my group of friends that is crazy about me & almost everyone knows about it. He always showers me with compliments on how good i look and how i am so sweet etc. The thing is i am not really attracted to him but i like him as a person. He is really strong, wild and can sometimes be outrageous doing things, he is really different from everyone i have dated and my friends are telling me to give him a chance. When i was dating the people i use to he would always tell me that i am too good for them and that i deserve someone who would love me. Do you think i should at least give me a chance and see what happens or should i just leave it and not complicate things?

Your friend seems great. You may not be attracted to him because he's so different than anyone you've ever dated. But, be careful. Dating friends can be good and bad. If you guys end up breaking up, it can hurt the friendship. I would give him a shot. Take it slow and easy. And be upfront and honest with him about your feelings. Who knows. It could be the best decision you've ever made.

The old saying goes something like, "If it was meant to be, it will be." If you don't feel it, then don't go for it. It is not fair to him and you will regret it later on.

If you do decide to date him, get to know him really well. Only time will tell.

Don't settle. Being 26 and single today is hardly a nightmare anymore.

anyhow, i think you should give him a chance. let him know that your going into this relationship without actual "feelings" in the way he might like you. Things might just work out between you two...and who knows maybe he's been the one for you all along. Its worth a try.

Sometimes the best relationships happen when you least expect it. Since this guy is completely different from what you're used to...then maybe that's what you need. But be honest with him from the start. Tell him that you want to take things slow as friends and just see where things go. You don't want to hurt him being that he is such a good guy.

If the only problem is that you're not really attracted to him, then give him a chance. Looks don't matter, unless you can't stand them. And by the fact that you're considering dating him, I would guess he's not all that bad. One thing i've noticed, is that if you don't give a **** what the person looks like or what other people say, then that person suddenly looks a lot cuter. Lol. Yes I've experienced this and it's true. So yea, just give him a chance. How bad could it be?

You need to rethink your attraction to men. Did you like any of your past boyfriends as a person? The person you fall in love with will be your best friend and by your side for the rest of your life. You need to like them as a person first. You should give the guy a chance, it could be the best thing you do for yourself.
